Finnskogen ist eine Region in der südöstlichen Provinz Hedmark in Norwegen, die sich hinter der schwedischen Grenze fortsetzt.

Das Gebiet ist ein großes Waldgebiet auf beiden Seiten der Grenze. Geographisch kann es durch den Fluss Glomma im Westen (Norwegen) und den Klarälven im Osten (Schweden) eingegrenzt werden sowie durch die Kommune Eidskog im Süden und den Reichsweg 25 im Norden.

Finnskogen bedeutet Finnenwald und bezog seinen Namen von finnischen Auswanderern, die im 16. und 17. Jahrhundert hierher kamen. Die Auswanderer werden Waldfinnen (Skogfinner) genannt und sind heute eine anerkannte Minderheit in Norwegen. Zentren der finnischen Kultur sind die Kommunen Grue und Åsnes.
