Geiranger ist ein Ort in Norwegen.

Der Ort liegt am Ende des Geirangerfjordes in der Provinz Møre og Romsdal und hat ca. 300 Einwohner; in den Sommermonaten steigt diese Zahl auf bis zu 2000 Einwohner an. Die Einwohner leben fast ausschließlich vom Tourismus, es kommen neben den Hurtigruten-Schiffen jährlich über 100 Kreuzfahrtschiffe im Geirangerfjord und somit in Geiranger an.

Eine Autofähre fährt von Geiranger mehrere Male am Tag durch den Geirangerfjord nach Hellesylt.

Den wahrscheinlich beeindruckendsten Ausblick über das Dorf Geiranger und den Geirangerfjord hat man vom fast 1500 m hoch gelegenen Berg Dalsnibba, den man auf einer Schotterstraße mit dem Auto, Motorrad, Fahrrad oder Bus erreicht. Auto- und Motorradfahrer müssen eine kleine Maut-Gebühr bezahlen.
