Grey Goose ist ein französischer Wodka, der auf Basis von französischem Weizen aus der Region La Beauce und Wasser hergestellt wird, das durch den Kalkstein der Champagne natürlich gereinigt wurde. Der Wodka wird fünffach destilliert. Sein Alkoholgehalt beträgt 40 Vol.-%. Nach der Produktion in Frankreich wird er vom Sidney-Frank-Importunternehmen nach New Rochelle importiert.

Nachdem der Wodka 1997 in den USA auf den Markt gebracht wurde, wurde er schnell für seine Qualität bekannt und gewann mehrere Auszeichnungen. Seit August 2004 gehört Grey Goose zu Bacardi Ltd.

Die Flasche besitzt einen Vielfarbdruck. Die Ansicht durch das Glas bedient sich einer Präsentationstechnik, die aus dem Ausstellungsdesign bekannt ist: Auf der Innenseite entfaltet sich ein Diorama, durch das sich die Silhouette fliegender Gänse zu einem Bergpanorama mit räumlicher Tiefe fügt.

Auszeichnungen

Im englischsprachigen Magazin „Russianlife“ belegte Grey Goose Vodka im Geschmackstest 2001 den 1. Platz.[1]
