Alifa Rifaat (arabisch ‏أليفة رفعت‎, DMG Alīfa Rifʿat; * 1930 in Kairo; † 1996)[1] war eine ägyptische Schriftstellerin.

Sie schildert in ihren Erzählungen Schicksale ägyptischer Mädchen und Frauen in einer patriarchalischen Gesellschaft.
