Hornsherred

Hornsherred ist eine dänische Halbinsel. Sie liegt zwischen dem Isefjord und dem Roskildefjord im Norden der Insel Seeland. Der Nordteil gehört zur Gemeinde Frederikssund, der Südteil zur Gemeinde Lejre. Der Name leitet sich von der Harde Horns Herred ab, einer alten Verwaltungseinheit, welche den Norden der Halbinsel umfasste.

Die größten Ortschaften (2008) sind Jægerspris (4041 Einwohner), Skibby (3057 Einwohner), Kirke Hyllinge (1923 Einwohner) und Ejby (1922 Einwohner).[1]
