Das altägyptische Grabmal KV3 am Hauptzugangsweg, nahe dem Tal der Könige gelegen, sollte ursprünglich das Grab für einen Sohn von Pharao Ramses III. sein. Jedoch gibt es keine Beweise dafür, dass dort wirklich eine Beerdigung stattgefunden hat.

Ziegelsteine weisen auch darauf hin, dass das Grabmal KV3 als christliche Kapelle während des byzantinischen Reiches gedient hat.
