Keith Reid

Keith Reid (* 19. Oktober 1946 in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire) ist ein britischer Songtexter. Er ist festes Bandmitglied der Rockgruppe Procol Harum.

Sein größter Erfolg ist A Whiter Shade Of Pale (1967), den er zusammen mit Gary Brooker geschrieben hat. Sämtliche Texte von Procol Harum stammen aus seiner Feder. Sein Erscheinen auf der Bühne ist ein ganz seltenes Erlebnis, in Deutschland sah man ihn zuletzt im Oktober 1972. Zusätzlich hat er Texte geschrieben für Robin Trower, Frankie Miller, Peter Frampton, John Waite, Gary Brooker und Chris Thompson. Um 1980 hat er das Management von Mickey Jupp und Frankie Miller übernommen. 1998 hat er das Buch My Own Choice herausgegeben. Heute lebt er überwiegend in Amerika.
