Kimberley Town (offiziell: Kimberley Town Football Club) – auch bekannt unter dem Spitznamen The Stags – ist ein englischer Fußballverein aus Kimberley in Nottinghamshire. Sie erreichten drei mal die zweite Runde des FA Vase. Seit der Saison 2008/2009, spielt der Verein in der Central Midlands League Supreme Division. Trainer ist der Exprofi Paul Rawden.

Geschichte

Kimberley Town spielte zwischen 1892 und 1908 im FA Cup mit. Jedoch erstmals auf sich aufmerksam machte sich der jetzige Klub erst 1915 unter dem Namen Kimberley YMCS, als das Team den Notts Intermediate Cup gewann. In den 1950 Jahren Kimberley YMCA stieg in die Notts Amateur League auf, nachdem 1954 der Knockout Cup gewonnen wurde. Ein Jahr später wurde der Verein in Kiberely Town umbenannt. Im Jahr 1986 war Kimberley Town Mitglied der Supreme Division, jedoch erfolgte vier Jahre später der Abstieg in die Premier Division. Das beste Ergebnis in diesen Ligen wurde in der Saison 1997/1998 mit dem zweiten Platz in der Supreme Division erreicht. Paul Rawden ist der erste Teammanager des Vereins. Er erhielt vom Präsidenten die Aufgabe den Verein weiter nach vorne zu bringen
