Die Mainstream Media AG ist ein deutsches, in Ismaning ansässiges Medienunternehmen, welches im Rahmen einer Umstrukturierung und Umfirmierung der GoldstarTV GmbH & Co. KG in eben dieses Unternehmen entstand. Seit 27. September 2007 [1] bündelt die Mainstream Media AG alle Aktivitäten der bisherigen GoldstarTV GmbH & Co. KG und führt die Geschäfte als Aktiengesellschaft weiter. Der Aufsichtsrat bestellte Gottfried Zmeck zum Vorstandsvorsitzenden und Horst Kümmel als weiteres Vorstandsmitglied, welche bisher bereits Mitglied der Geschäftsleitung der GoldStar TV GmbH & Co. KG war. Die Position des Aufsichtsratsvorsitzenden hat RA Ulrich Rösch inne. Stellvertretender Vorsitzender ist Franz Jung, welcher ehemals in der Geschäftsleitung der Commerzbank tätig war. Als weitere Vertreter gehören Barbara Zmeck und Julia Zmeck dem Aufsichtsrat an.

Als nahtlose Rechtsnachfolgerin der GoldStar TV GmbH & Co.KG führt die Gesellschaft die Pay-TV Kanäle [2] GoldStar TV, Heimatkanal, Hit24 und Romance TV als Marken bzw. Tochtergesellschaften unter dem Bereich und Kerngeschäftsfeld Broadcast.

Rechte-/ Lizenzhandel

Ein weiteres Geschäftsfeld der Mainstream Media AG ist der Bereich Rechte- und Lizenzhandel. Dieses Feld deckt die Reichenbach Rechtehandels GmbH als 100 %ige Tochter der Mainstream Media AG ab. Daneben agiert das Unternehmen in einem weiteren Bereich: Musikverlag/Produktion mit den Tochtergesellschaften almara Musikverlag GmbH und dem Label almara records. Nach der Umfirmierung wurde auch die Tochtergesellschaft drei.eins Beteiligungs GmbH weitergeführt.

Aktionärsstruktur

Hauptaktionär der Mainstream Media AG ist der Geschäftsführer Gottfried Zmeck mit 90 Prozent. Jeweils 5 Prozent am Unternehmen halten dessen Töchter Barbara Zmeck und Julia Zmeck.
