Mary Ann Cotton (* 15. Oktober 1832 in Low Moorsley, Sunderland als Mary Ann Robson; † 24. März 1873 in Durham) war eine britische Serienmörderin in der Victorianischen Ära.

Mary Ann Cotton, frühere Mrs. Mowbray, Mrs. Ward und Mrs. Robinson, vergiftete 20 Menschen mit Arsen, inklusive ihrer vier Ehemänner, zwei Liebhaber, ihrer Mutter und ihrer eigenen Kinder. Ihr Name wurde zum Synonym für Arsenvergiftungen. [1]
