OpenDX, bedeutet Open Data Explorer und ist die Open Source Visualisierungs Software der Firma IBM. Die Software OpenDX dient zum Postprocessing, sie ermöglicht die Visualisierung von Daten, etwa Vektorfeldern, und bietet umfangreiche Möglichkeiten zur Analyse, und Interaktion. OpenDX ist ein datenflussorientiertes Visualisierungssystem, das heißt die Erstellung eines Programms erfolgt über den Visual Program Editor (VPE) einer graphische Programmieroberfläche.
