OSCOM Deutschland war eine Organisation, die Benutzer und Entwickler von quelloffenen Content-Management-Systemen zusammenbrachte. Sie war Teil der internationalen OSCOM.
OSCOM organisierte Veranstaltungen, förderte Standards und unterstützte Aktivitäten, um den Entwicklungsstand von Open Source Content Management voranzutreiben. OSCOM förderte Open Source Content-Management-Systeme als flexible und erschwingliche Alternativen zu proprietären Produkten.
Sie wurde 2002 gegründet und war zwei Jahre recht aktiv bis es 2004 bergab ging und 2006 Gespräche über die Auflösung geführt wurden.[1] Am 16. Oktober 2009 wurde sie aufgelöst und verbleibendes Vermögen der Apache Software Foundation übertragen.
