Das englische Wort Party (Übersetzung: Feier, Partei, Gesellschaft) steht für:

Eine festliche Veranstaltung im privaten oder halböffentlichen Rahmen, meist zu einem bestimmten Anlass oder mit einem Thema. Gegenüber der Feier hat der Begriff Party eine nicht-religiöse und eher jugendliche Konnotation.

  • After-Work-Party, offene gesellschaftliche Veranstaltung an Werktagen, die früher als übliche Tanzveranstaltungen beginnt.
  • Block Party, Stadtviertelfest in den USA
  • LAN-Party, Zusammenschluss von Computern, auf denen durch die Partybesucher Computerspiele per Netzwerk gespielt werden.
  • Keysigning-Party, Menschen treffen sich, um sich gegenseitig ihre PGP-Schlüssel zu signieren.
  • Kuschelparty, fremde Menschen in bequemer Kleidung kuscheln miteinander.
  • Pyjama-Party, eine Party, bei der die Gäste beim Gastgeber übernachten.
  • Schlüsselparty, eine Party, bei der die Gäste ihren Sexpartner auslosen.
  • Stag Party, Junggesellenabschied in England
