Der River Greta in Cumbria in England ist ein Nebenfluss des River Derwent und fließt durch die Stadt Keswick.

Die Quelle des Flusses befindet sich nahe Threlkeld bei der Einmündung des River Glenderamackin und St. John's Beck. Von dort fließt der Fluss nach Westen, wobei er grob der ehemaligen Eisenbahnlinie zwischen Keswick und Penrith folgt.

Danach fließt der Fluss durch Keswick, bevor er sich mit dem River Derwent verbindet, gleich nachdem letzterer aus dem Derwent Water ausfloss.

Die größten Nebenflüsse des River Greta sind Naddle Beck und Glenderaterra Beck.

River Greta in Yorkshire

Im nördlichen Yorkshire gibt es auch einen River Greta, der in den River Lune mündet. Dieser entspringt dem River Twiss und dem River Doe.
