Robert Coote

Robert Coote (* 4. Februar 1909 in London; † 26. November 1982 in New York) war ein englischer Schauspieler.

Coote, der in Sally in Our Alley seine erste Filmrolle spielte, stand einige Jahre in England auf der Bühne, bevor er nach Hollywood ging. Dort spielte er bis zum Zweiten Weltkrieg in vielen Filmen diverse Nebenrollen. Während des Krieges diente Coote in der kanadischen Luftwaffe. Nach dem Krieg spielte Coote in Filmen wie The Ghost and Mrs. Muir. 1956 bekam Coote die Rolle des Colonel Pickering in dem Broadway Musical My Fair Lady.

Seine letzte Rolle in einem Kinofilm spielte Coote 1973 neben Vincent Price in Theater des Grauens (Theatre of Blood).
