Das Internationale Filmfestival Shanghai (chin. 上海国际电影节, Shànghǎi guójì diànyǐngjié), auch als Shanghai International Film Festival (SIFF) bekannt, zählt zu den größten internationalen Filmfestivals der Welt.
1993 in Shanghai gegründet, wurde bereits das erste Festival von 300.000 Zuschauern, darunter 200 Journalisten, besucht. 167 Filme aus 33 Ländern liefen im Wettbewerb und in der Panorama-Sektion. Nicht zuletzt aufgrund dieser Zahlen wurde das Shanghai International Film Festival noch im gleichen Jahr als eines von wenigen Filmfestivals mit Wettbewerb vom Filmproduzentenverband FIAPF anerkannt und ist damit formal gleich bedeutend wie etwa die Internationalen Filmfestspiele von Cannes. Es fand bis 2001 jedes zweite Jahr statt, seitdem jährlich im Juni. 2003 fand das Festival nicht statt.
Das Festival gliedert sich in vier Hauptteile:
- internationaler Wettbewerb mit dem „Goldenen Pokal“ (金爵獎 / 金爵奖, jīn jué jiǎng) in mehreren Kategorien
- internationales Panorama
- filmakademisches Seminar
- internationaler Filmmarkt
