Stephen Typaldos

Stephen Philip Typaldos (* 25. März 1957; † 5. April 2006 in Pasadena, Kalifornien) war ein US-amerikanischer Notfallmediziner und Osteopath griechischer Herkunft

Typaldos Vater Zissimos entstammte einer wohlhabenden Familie neapolitanischen Ursprungs aus Lixouri auf der griechischen Insel Kefalonia.

Stephen Typaldos stellte im Jahr 1991 das Fasziendistorsionsmodell (FDM) vor, das er zunächst „Orthopathie“ (Brückenschlag zwischen Osteopathie und Orthopädie) nannte. FDM wird synonym oft auch als Typaldos-Methode bezeichnet.
