Das Tokyo String Quartet ist ein Streichquartettensemble, das 1969 an der Juilliard School of Music gegründet wurde. Seit Juni 2002 spielt das Quartett in folgender Formation:

Kazuhide Isomura ist seit der Gründung Mitglied, Kikuei Ikeda seit 1974 Mitglied.

Besonders beim klassischen Repertoire ist das Quartett für seinen feinen Klang hochgelobt. Es handelt sich neben dem Schweizer Stradivari Quartett um das einzige Streichquartett, welches auf vier Stradivariinstrumenten musiziert.
