A-law

A-law

C(x)=\begin{cases}
\frac{A}{1+ \ln A} x & \mbox{wenn }0 \le x \le \frac{1}{A} \\
\frac{1}{1+ \ln A} + \frac{\ln Ax}{1+ \ln A}, & \mbox{wenn } \frac{1}{A} < x \le 1
\end{cases}
\mbox{ mit } A = 87{,}56

Die inverse Funktion dazu lautet:

C^{-1}(y) = \sgn(y) \begin{cases}
{|y| (1 + \ln A) \over A}, & \mbox{wenn } |y| < {1 \over 1 + \ln(A)} \\
{\exp(|y| (1 + \ln A) - 1) \over A}, & \mbox{wenn } {1 \over 1 + \ln A} \leq |y| < 1.
\end{cases}
\mbox{ mit } A = 87{,}56

Linearer Input Output
s0000000wxyza... s000wxyz
s0000001wxyza... s001wxyz
s000001wxyzab... s010wxyz
s00001wxyzabc... s011wxyz
s0001wxyzabcd... s100wxyz
s001wxyzabcde... s101wxyz
s01wxyzabcdef... s110wxyz
s1wxyzabcdefg... s111wxyz
