Walter II. Stewart (FitzAlan) (* ca. 1198; † ca. 1246) war ein schottischer Adliger aus dem Haus Stuart und 3. High Stewart von Schottland.
Walter II. Stewart war der Sohn von Alan Stewart, 2. High Steward of Scotland und dessen Gemahlin Alesta of Mar. Er folgte seinem Vater 1204 als 3. High Steward von Schottland. Als erster der Familie nahm er den Namen Stewart an und wurde of Dundonald genannt. Er war Justiciar von Schottland.
Er heiratete Beatrix (Bethóc) , Tochter des Gilchrist, 4. Earl of Angus, mit der er folgende Kinder hatte:
- Euphemia († ca.1267), Patrick, 5. Earl of Dunbar
- Margaret (*ca. 1206), heiratete Niall, Earl of Carrick
- Elizabeth (*ca.1210), heiratete Maldouen, 3. Earl of Lennox
- Alexander Stewart, 4. High Steward of Scotland
- John († 1249), angeblich gefallen bei Damiette auf dem sechsten Kreuzzug[1]
- Walter (ca.1218-1296), Earl of Menteith, heiratete Mary, Tochter und Erbin des Maurice, 3. Earl of Menteith.
- Sybilla, heiratete Colin Fitzgerald, 1. Lord of Kintail
