William G. Lennox

William Gordon Lennox (* 1884; † 1960) war ein US-amerikanischer Neurologe.

Lennox war ein Pionier in der Anwendung der Elektroenzephalografie (EEG) für die Diagnose und die Behandlung der Epilepsie.

Er arbeitete an der Harvard Medical School. Von 1935 bis 1946 war er Präsident der International League Against Epilepsy (ILAE).

Lennox und Henri Gastaut beschrieben erstmals das Lennox-Gastaut-Syndrom.

1951 wurde er mit dem Albert Lasker Award for Clinical Medical Research ausgezeichnet.
