Yves «Larock» Cheminade (* 1977 in der Schweiz) ist ein Schweizer House-DJ, Produzent und Mitglied des Africanism-All-Stars-Projekts.

Karriere

Yves Larock begann schon früh mit dem Produzieren von Musik, bis er im Jahre 2004 hohe Aufmerksamkeit vom Musikproduzenten Mr. Mike bekam und einen Plattenvertrag abschloss mit der Debütsingle Aiaka.

Im Sommer/Herbst 2007 wurde seine Single Rise Up zu einem populären Dancefloor-Hit in Europa und stieg sogar auf Platz 13 der britischen Charts.[2] Rise Up ist noch Ende September 2008 in den Schweizer Charts vertreten.[3] In verschiedenen Diskotheken und Clubs wird er immer wieder gerne von DJs gespielt.

Im September 2008 brachte Yves Larock sein Debütalbum Rise Up in den Handel.
