Kaiserin Zauditu (auch: Zawditu, amharisch ዘውዲቱ) (* 29. April 1876; † 2. April 1930) war die erste Monarchin von Äthiopien.

Sie war die älteste Tochter des späteren Kaisers Menelik II. (1889–1913 Kaiser von Äthiopien) und dessen erster Ehefrau Woizero Abechi. 1882 heiratete sie Araya Selassie Yohannis, Sohn und Erbe von Kaiser Johannes IV. (1872–1889 Kaiser von Äthiopien). Es war eine politische Heirat. 1888 starb Araya Selassie Yohannis und Zauditu verheiratete sich danach noch zweimal. Ihre vierte Ehe ging sie mit Gugsa Welle, dem Neffen ihrer Stiefmutter Taytu, der zweiten Ehefrau Meneliks II., ein.

Am 27. September 1916 wurde sie Kaiserin. Ab 1928 hatte sie einen Mitkaiser, Haile Selassie (Tafari), der faktisch die Macht in Äthiopien hatte.

Am 31. März 1930 kam Gugsa Welle ums Leben. Er hatte versucht, in Begemder eine Rebellion gegen Haile Selassie zu starten, und wurde in der Schlacht von Anchem von der modernisierten äthiopischen Armee geschlagen und getötet.

Zauditu litt an Diabetes. Sie starb zwei Tage nach ihrem Mann.
