Biograph ist ein Kompilation-Album von Bob Dylan. Es enthält, ursprünglich auf 5 LPs und später auf 3 CDs veröffentlicht, 53 Lieder, von denen 31 bereits auf Alben veröffentlicht waren, während 22 Stücke entweder Singles, Live-Versionen oder unveröffentlichte Lieder sind. Die Lied-Auswahl umfasst die Jahre 1962 bis 1981. Das 42-seitige Booklet enthält seltene Fotos sowie Texte von Cameron Crowe.

Das Album wurde zur Premiere des 24. Aufnahmejahr von Bob Dylan von vom Plattenlabel Columbia veröffentlicht.^[1]

Eines der Lieder, die auf Biograph erstmals veröffentlicht wurden, ist Lay Down Your Weary Tune, das Lied, mit dem der Martin-Scorsese-Film No Direction Home endet. Ein weiteres, Can You Please Crawl Out Your Window?, ist einer der 31 Songs, denen der britische Schriftsteller Nick Hornby 2003 sein gleichnamiges Buch widmete.
