Bluefish nennt sich ein Quelltext-Editor, der sich vor allem zur Erstellung von HTML-Dokumenten für Webseiten eignet.

Bluefish steht unter der GPL und läuft auf einem Großteil der POSIX-kompatiblen Betriebssysteme wie beispielsweise Linux, FreeBSD, Solaris und Mac OS X. Er bietet Syntaxhervorhebung für HTML, PHP und diverse andere Sprachen wie Java, Perl, Python, Ruby, C und Pascal an. Da er vor allem für HTML entwickelt wurde, beinhaltet er für die üblichen HTML-Tags eine Symbolleiste und Dialoge für die Attribute solcher Tags. Zusätzlich lassen sich externe Programme sehr leicht einbinden und der Funktionsumfang somit erweitern.

Außerdem verfügt Bluefish über eine Art Generator für Cascading Style Sheets.
