Achantus

Achantus

Achantus (ital.: Acanto) ist ein Titularbistum der römisch-katholischen Kirche.

Es geht zurück auf ein früheres Bistum der antiken Stadt Akanthos in Makedonien auf der Halbinsel Chalkidiki im Norden des heutigen Griechenlands. Das Bistum gehörte der Kirchenprovinz Thessalonica an.
