Die Albanian Mobile Communications (kurz AMC) ist einer der größten Mobilfunkanbieter in Albanien. Das ehemals staatliche Unternehmen wurde im Jahr 2000 durch die albanische Regierung privatisiert. Ein norwegisch-griechisches Konsortium bestehend aus Telenor und Cosmote übernahm 85 % der Anteile. AMC ist der einzige Anbieter von landeseigenem GSM in Albanien.
Geschichte
1996 durch den Staat gegründet, wurde AMC im Jahr 2000 privatisiert. Zwei Jahre später entstanden die ersten Filialen im Land, 2011 sind es schon über 100.
