Anna Blyth

Anna Blyth (* 15. Mai 1988 in Leeds) ist eine britische Bahnradsportlerin.

Im Alter von 15 Jahren begann Anna Blyth mit dem Leistungsradsport. Nachdem sie schon Podiumsplätze bei Nachwuchs-Europa- und Weltmeisterschaften erreicht hatte, wurde sie 2006 in Gent Junioren-Weltmeisterin im Keirin. 2007 wurde sie Europameisterin (Nachwuchs) in derselben Disziplin. 2008 gewann sie die Britische Meisterschaft der Elite im 500m-Zeitfahren sowie im Teamsprint, gemeinsam mit Victoria Pendleton. 2009 siegte sie im Scratch-Rennen bei den Europameisterschaften (unter 23). Ebenfalls den dritten Platz erzielte sie in derselben Disziplin bei den Commonwealth Games 2010.

Anna Blyth ist Mitglied des britischen “Olympic Development Plans” sowie der “ Olympic Academy” zur Vorbereitung auf die Olympischen Spiele 2012 in London.
