DJ Zatox (bürgerlich Gerardo Roschini) ist ein italienischer Hardstyle-DJ und Produzent.

Karriere
Seine Karriere begann in den späten 1990er Jahren, als er sich aus dem damaligen Musikstil herausstellte, um seine eigene Musik zu formen. Er produzierte unter Namen wie Supaboyz, Smashing Guys, Ironblood und Machinehead. Heute ragt mit dem erstellten Sound unter verschiedenen Alias ein Riesenstapel von Musikstücken über andere Produzenten hinaus.
Im Laufe der Jahre stapelte sich dann Hit an Hit und die Hardstyle-Fans wurden aufmerksam auf Gerardo. Sein Stil, wie er italienische, klassische Musik mit modernem Hardstyle kombiniert, lockte auch Fans aus anderen Genres an. Somit wurde er von Eventveranstaltern wie Q-Dance, Bassevents und b2s gebucht, um seine Musik den Fans live zu überbringen. Somit spielte er auf Gigs wie Defqon.1, Qlimax, Q-Base, Hard Bass, Decibel Outdoor und InQontrol.
Gerardo bemerkte offenbar, dass sein italienischer Hardstyle bei den Leuten gut ankam. So präsentierte er 2010 die Eröffnung des Labels Italian Hardstyle. Mitglieder dieses Labels sind unter anderem DJ Zatox, DJ Tatanka, Davide Sonar, Vamper, Maxter und The R3bels.
Heute
Heute ist Zatox bekannt für seine dunklen Sounds, die zwischen dunkler Atmosphäre und hellen, klassischen, italischen Streichern wandeln (typisches Beispiel: Zatox - The Future)
