David Galer Kirkpatrick

David Galer Kirkpatrick (* 14. Januar 1953) ist ein kanadischer Professor für Computer-Wissenschaft an der University of British Columbia, Kanada.

Leben

Kirkpatrick promovierte 1974 an der University of Toronto, Ontario, Kanada. Er ist bekannt für den Kirkpatrick-Seidel-Algorithmus. Sein erstes Buch The Facebook Effect befasst sich mit dem Weg des sozialen Netzwerks Facebook des Amerikaners Mark Zuckerberg.
