Der Eglinton River ist ein Fluss im Südwesten der Südinsel Neuseelands. Er entspringt am Lake Gunn, 25 km östlich des Milford Sound und fließt in südlicher Richtung etwa 50 km durch den Fiordland National Park. Er mündet gegenüber dem North Fjord an der Ostküste des Lake Te Anau.

Über den größten Teil seines Verlaufes wird der Fluss von der einzigen größeren Straße des Gebietes, dem State Highway 94, der von Te Anau zum Milford Sound führt, begleitet. Das Südende des Milford Tracks befindet sich in der Nähe des Eglinton Rivers.
