Der Governor General's Award (französisch Prix du Gouverneur général) ist der renommierteste Literaturpreis Kanadas, 1937 von Generalgouverneur Lord Tweedsmuir gestiftet. Seit 1957 werden die Auszeichnungen in verschiedenen Kategorien für hervorragende und bedeutende literarische Leistungen sowohl in englischer als auch in französischer Sprache (Governor General's Literary Awards) vom Canada Council for the Arts vergeben.
