Guangzhou Automobile Group Co. (GAC, gegründet 2000) ist der größte Automobilproduzent in Südchina. Das Unternehmen betreibt in der Stadt Guangzhou Gemeinschaftsunternehmen mit Honda (Honda City) und Toyota. Von Fiat (Alfa 166) wurden Plattform und Motoren gekauft. Ein anvisiertes Joint-Venture mit Mitsubishi (Absichtserklärung im November 2010) konzentriert sich auf die Produktion von Pick Ups und SUVs.
Im Segment der Mittelklasse- und der Kleinwagen-Automobile war die Guangzhou Automobile Group im Jahr 2010 mit 724.200 Fahrzeugen der sechstgrößte Automobilhersteller der Volksrepublik China. [1]
