Der Landkreis Hekimhan liegt im Norden der Provinz und grenzt an die Provinz Sivas. In der Stadt Hekimhan leben 7802 Menschen und im gesamten Landkreis 25479 Menschen (Stand 2008). Außer der Stadt Hekimhan gibt es im ganzen Landkreis fünf weitere Kleinstädte mit einem Bürgermeister.
