Jan Verhaas (* 5. Oktober 1966 in Maassluis) ist ein niederländischer Snookerschiedsrichter.

Leben

Verhaas ist seit 1993 Schiedsrichter auf der Snooker Main Tour. Das erste von ihm geleitete Spiel auf Profiebene war Steve Davis gegen Tony Drago.

Als erster nicht-britischer Schiedsrichter leitete er das WM-Finale 2003 zwischen Ken Doherty und Mark J. Williams. Es folgten drei weitere WM-Finals bei denen er Schiedsrichter war (2006, 2008 und 2011). Auch bei anderen großen Turnieren wie der UK Championship (2005, 2006 und 2008) oder dem Masters (insgesamt acht mal; zuletzt 2010) war er häufig Finalschiedsrichter.
