Kondratowice (deutsch: Kurtwitz) ist ein Dorf und Sitz der gleichnamigen Landgemeinde im Powiat Strzeliński, Woiwodschaft Niederschlesien in Polen.

Geschichte

Beim Ortsteil Białobrzezie (früher Rothschloß) kam es im Verlauf des Ersten Schlesischer Kriegs am 22. Juli 1741[3] zu einem Gefecht (Überfall auf Rothschloß), bei dem 600 vom preußischen Oberstleutnant Hans Joachim von Zieten kommandierte Husaren sich gegen 1400 Soldaten des österreichischen Generals Baronay durchsetzten; eine Abteilung unter Oberst Hans Karl von Winterfeldt nahm einen österreichischen Verpflegungstransport weg.[4]

Bis 1945 war Kurtwitz eine Gemeinde im Landkreis Trebnitz, Regierungsbezirk Breslau der Provinz Schlesien.
