Mario del Valle Moronta Rodríguez

Mario del Valle Moronta Rodríguez (* 10. Februar 1949 in Caracas) ist ein römisch-katholischer Bischof.

Die Priesterweihe empfing er am 19. April 1975. Am 4. April 1990 wurde er von Papst Johannes Paul II. zum Titularbischof von Nova ernannt und zum Weihbischof in Caracas, Santiago di Venezuela bestellt. Die Bischofsweihe empfing er am 27. Mai 1990 durch José Ali Kardinal Lebrún Moratinos; Mitkonsekratoren waren die Erzbischöfe Domingo Roa Perez und Miguel Antonio Salas Salas. Am 2. Dezember 1995 ernannte ihn Johannes Paul II. zum Diözesanbischof von Los Teques; am 14. April 1999 wurde er Bischof von San Cristóbal de Venezuela.

Am 22. September 2009 berief ihn Papst Benedikt XVI. zum Mitglied der Glaubenskongregation.
