Matej Gaspar

Matej Gaspar (* 11. Juli 1987, Zagreb, ehem. Jugoslawien, jetzt Kroatien) wurde symbolisch der fünfmilliardste Mensch auf der Erde.

Der Generalsekretär der UNO, Javier Perez de Cuellar, besuchte am 11. Juli 1987 ein Zagreber Krankenhaus. An diesem Tag wurde von Statistikern berechnet, sollte die Erdbevölkerung fünf Milliarden Menschen erreichen. Der Generalsekretär wählte in der Entbindungsstation der Frauenklinik zufällig ein an diesem Tag geborenes Baby aus.

Am 12. Oktober 1999 wurde Lorrize Mae Guevarra symbolisch als sechsmilliardster Mensch empfangen.

Danica May Camacho von den Philippinen wurde am 30. Oktober 2011 symbolisch, als eine von mehreren, zum siebenmilliardsten Menschen erkoren.
