Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah (* 29. Oktober 1952 in Onamutai, Oshana) ist eine namibische Politikerin (SWAPO).
Leben
Ndaitwah wurde 1966 Mitglied der SWAPO-Partei, ging jedoch kurz darauf ins Exil. 1976 erhielt sie ihr Abitur in der Sowjetunion und studierte von 1983 bis 1989 im Vereinigten Königreich, erst am damaligen Glasgow College of Technology und später an der Universität Keele, mit einem Abschlüssen als MBA und Internationale Beziehungen.
1996 wurde sie Mitglied der Nationalversammlung und kurzzeitig stellvertretende Generalsekretärin der Südwestafrikanischen Volksorganisation. 2000 übernahm sie ihren ersten Ministerposten im Ministerium für Geschlechtliche Gleichberechtigung und Kinderwohlfahrt und setzte sich damals für eine 30 %-Frauenquote im Parlament ein. 2005 wurde sie Ministerin für Information und Kommunikationstechnologie und kurz darauf Ministerin für Umwelt und Tourismus.
Nandi-Ndaitwah ist verheiratet und lebt in Windhoek.
