Richard Schickel

Richard Warren Schickel (* 10. Februar 1933 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin) ist ein US-amerikanischer Schriftsteller, Dokumentarfilmer und Filmkritiker.

Von 1965 bis 2009 war Schickel als Filmkritiker bei Life und Time.[1] Aktuell schreibt er seine Filmkritiken im Internet.[2]

Seine Produktionsgesellschaft Lorac Productions erstellt Dokumentationen über Filmgeschichte und -persönlichkeiten.[3] Auf etlichen DVD-Ausgaben finden sich Kommentare von ihm.
