Somebody's Watching Me ist ein Lied des Sängers Rockwell aus dem Jahr 1984.

Geschichte

Das Lied handelt von einem paranoiden Erzähler, welcher sich davor fürchtet, beobachtet und verfolgt zu werden. Der Refrain des von Rockwell verfassten Liedes wurde von dessen Schulfreunden Michael und Jermaine Jackson gesungen.[1][2] Der Titel erreichte Platz 2 der Billboard Hot 100 Charts 1984,[3] in den UK Top 40 Platz 6 und in Deutschland Platz 2. Auch in anderen europäischen Ländern wurden Positionen in den Top 10 erreicht.[4]

Musikvideo

Das Musikvideo wurde passend zum Lied gestaltet, es sind dort unter anderem zu sehen: Schwimmende Köpfe, Raben, Friedhöfe, eine Dusche und Szenen aus dem Film Psycho. Den Zusteller, den man in diesem Musikvideo sieht, sieht man auch in dem Musikvideo zu Obscene Phone Caller.
