Denmark ist der Name einer Stadt im Lewis County im US-Bundesstaat New York. Die Stadt wurde 1876 von dänischen Einwanderern gegründet und hieß bis 1932 Danmark. Bis 1948 war Dänisch die offizielle Sprache, bis 1987 offizielle Zweitsprache.

Im Jahr 2000 betrug die Einwohnerzahl 2747.

Geographie

Nach den Angaben des United States Census Bureaus hat die Stadt eine Fläche von 132,2 km², wovon 131,1 km² auf Land und 1,1 km² (= 0,84 %) auf Gewässer entfallen.

Die Stadtgrenze wird im Nordwesten von der Grenze des Jefferson Countys und im Osten durch den Black River gebildet. Der durch den Nordteil Denmarks fließende Deer River ist ein Nebenfluss des Black Rivers.

Parallel zum Black River verlaufen New York State Route 12 und 26 durch das Stadtgebiet, während New York State Route 410 durch dessen südwestliche Ecke verläuft.
