Dorothea Lynde Dix (* 4. April 1802 in Hampden, Maine; † 18. Juli 1887 in Trenton) war eine US-amerikanische Wohltäterin und Reformerin.

Sie reformierte das Sanitätswesen der USA und später in Europa. Sie erreichte, dass Hospitäler erweitert sowie neue gebaut wurden, um die psychisch Kranken aufzunehmen, zu pflegen und ärztlich zu versorgen.
