Im European Round Table (Europäischer Runder Tisch) treffen sich mehr als 45 Wirtschaftsführer großer europäischer, transnationaler Konzerne. Ziele sind das Entwickeln langfristiger wirtschaftsfreundlicher Strategien und die Organisation von Treffen mit Mitgliedern der Europäischen Kommission, einzelnen Kommissaren oder dem Kommissionspräsidenten, um die Richtung des Integrationsprozesses innerhalb der EU zu gestalten.

Laut cafebabel.com gehören der Eurotunnel und die Lissabon-Strategie zu den Projekten, die der European Round Table angestoßen hat.

Derzeitiger Vorsitzender des ERT ist der Schwede Leif Johansson (CEO von Volvo).
