Glucydur

Glucydur: Glucydur ist eine Legierung aus Kupfer und Beryllium. Diese Legierung hat besonders gute mechanische Eigenschaften. Das Metall wird meistens bei monometallischen Unruhen verwendet. Diese Legierung kommt durch ihre Elastizität und Stabilität meist im Uhrwerk von Armband- oder Taschenuhren zum Einsatz. Glucydur ist gegen Korrosion resistent

Das Wort setzt sich aus dem französischen Wörtern Glucinium (eine alte Bezeichnung für Beryllium) und dur (franz. = hart) zusammen.
