Der Hardangerfjord (norwegisch: Hardangerfjorden) ist ein etwa 170 Kilometer langer Fjord an der südwestlichen Atlantikküste Norwegens im Fylke Hordaland.

Einige größere Inseln wie Stord, Bømlo und Tysnesøy sind dem Fjord vorgelagert. Der Fjord verläuft grob gesehen von Südwesten nach Nordosten. Im Fjord befindet sich eine größere Insel, Varaldsøy. Die tiefste Stelle ist 725 Meter tief und befindet sich etwa an der Stelle, an der sich der Hardangerfjord in die kleineren Fjorde Eidfjord und Sørfjord teilt.

Gemeinden entlang des Hardangerfjords sind Eidfjord, Granvin, Jondal, Kvam, Kvinnherad, Odda, Ullensvang und Ulvik.

Die Region rund um den Hardangerfjord wird auch als Hardanger bezeichnet.
