Janne Haaland Matlary

Janne Haaland Matlary (* 27. April 1957) ist eine norwegische Politologin, Schriftstellerin und Politikerin der Christlichen Volkspartei.

Matlary ist Professorin für internationale Politik an der Universität Oslo und war von 1997 bis 2000 Staatssekretärin unter Außenminister Knut Vollebæk. Sie konvertierte als junge Studentin zum Katholizismus und ist heute eine profilierte Katholikin. So war sie Beraterin von Papst Johannes Paul II. und ist Mitglied im Päpstlichen Rat für Gerechtigkeit und Frieden sowie im Päpstlichen Rat für die Familie.
