Fest (der Zeugung) des Ka vom Ka des Horus /
Monat des NehebkauKa-her-ka (auch Monat der Sachmet) bezeichnete während des Alten- und Mittleren Reiches im ägyptischen Kalender den Monat der Aussaat und meint die Erstpflanzung der Saat im frischen Erdreich, das aus der Nilschwemme hervorgetreten ist. Zugleich war es der Monat des Nehebkau-Festes.

Monatsbedeutung
Von der prädynastischen Zeit bis zum Ende des Mittleren Reiches repräsentierte Ka-her-ka als ursprünglich fünfter Monat des Sothis-Kalenders die Zeitspanne von Anfang Oktober bis Anfang November.
Alan Gardiner wie auch Richard-Anthony Parker vermuten, dass Ka-her-ka im Laufe der Kalendergeschichte die Jahresform wechselte, weshalb sich Ka-her-ka spätestens ab dem Neuen Reich auf den vierten Monat verschob.
Im Ebers-Kalender um 1517 v. Chr. lag Ka-her-ka auf dem dritten Achet-Monat und datierte vom 17. Oktober bis 15. November (Elephantine) beziehungsweise vom 22. Oktober bis 20. November (Memphis).
Der Name des ersten Peret-Monats änderte sich später in Tybi.
Fest der Zeugung des Horus
Am ersten Tag des ersten Monats der Peret-Periode feierten die Ägypter das Horus-Fest, bei dem die Zeugung des Horus zelebriert wurde. Einen Tag zuvor, am letzten Tag der Achet-Periode, fand das Fest der Wiedergeburt von Osiris statt. In griechisch-römischer Zeit ernannten die Ptolemäer den 1. Tybi neben dem Isis-Fest zu einem der wichtigsten Feiertage.
