Sie ging 1995 aus der Death-Metal-Band Festerday hervor und nannte sich bis 2005 …And Oceans. Unter diesem Namen spielte die Band zunächst Black Metal und bezog später auch elektronische Elemente in ihre Musik mit ein. Zum 10-jährigen Jubiläum von …And Oceans im Jahr 2005 wurde den Änderungen im Musikstil durch eine Umbenennung in Hävoc Ünit und später dann Havoc Unit Rechnung getragen.
