Andrew Kennedy Hutchinson Boyd

Andrew Kennedy Hutchinson Boyd (* November 1825 in Auchinleck in East Ayrshire; † 1. März 1899 in Bournemouth) war ein schottischer Pfarrer und Schriftsteller.

Er studierte Theologie zu Glasgow, wurde 1851 ordiniert und bekleidete verschiedene Pfarreien, seit 1864 eine zu Edinburgh, die er später mit der von St Andrews vertauschte. Als Schriftsteller erregte er zuerst Aufsehen mit einer Reihe anonym erschienener Aufsätze in „Frasers Magazin“: Recreations of a country parson (2 Serien, separat ausgegeben 1859-78), an die sich eine ganze Reihe ähnlicher Werke anschloss, welche zwar oftmals anziehend, doch auf die Länge ermüdend sind.
